By registering for or using Goldex Bullion Vault's custody services, including our branch network, client portal, and concierge services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are acting on behalf of an institution, you represent that you are authorized to bind that institution to these terms.
Goldex Bullion Vault provides secure custody, authentication, and armored transport services for bullion, precious metals, gemstones, fine art, numismatic items, currency, and legal documents. Services include asset intake, authentication, deep-vault storage under dual-key control, digital certificates of custody, and client portal access for tracking and reporting.
All clients must complete identity verification (KYC) before assets are accepted into custody. We reserve the right to decline, delay, or reverse intake of any asset pending satisfactory verification of ownership, source of funds, or compliance with applicable anti-money-laundering (AML) regulations.
Assets are logged, photographed, and authenticated by branch staff at intake. Assets remain in an interim holding state until authentication is complete. Appraisal values recorded at intake are for internal custody and insurance purposes and do not constitute a formal valuation or guarantee of resale value.
Transfer of any asset into deep-vault storage requires both a staff-submitted request and independent approval by a branch manager. No single employee has unilateral authority to move an asset into or out of deep vault. This dual-key control is a core part of our custody model and cannot be waived.
Custody fees are calculated based on asset class and are due at the time of intake unless otherwise agreed in writing. Assets with an outstanding balance are subject to a financial hold and will not be released until settlement is confirmed.
Clients may request viewing, valuation, transfer, or pickup of their assets through the client portal Concierge feature. Transfer and pickup requests are only available for assets in deep-vault status with a fully settled account, and are subject to review and approval by the receiving branch manager.
Goldex Bullion Vault maintains insurance coverage for assets held in deep-vault custody in accordance with our published coverage schedule, available on request. Our liability for any asset is limited to the appraisal value recorded at intake, or the actual insured value, whichever is lower. We are not liable for losses arising from client-provided information, pre-existing defects, or events outside our reasonable control.
We do not accept assets that are stolen, subject to a legal dispute, sanctioned under applicable law, or otherwise obtained through unlawful means. We reserve the right to report suspected unlawful activity to the relevant authorities and to hold or refuse any asset pending investigation.
Either party may terminate a custody relationship with written notice, subject to settlement of any outstanding fees and completion of a supervised asset release. We reserve the right to suspend portal access or decline further custody services for breach of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from custody services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana, unless otherwise required by applicable regulation.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active clients via email or client portal notice before taking effect.
